Welcome to MagiKats!

MagiKats offers out of school Maths and English tuition mainly for years 1 to 11 (ages 5-16).  Every student has a programme that is built just for them.  They concentrate on coming to grips with topics that they are covering at school whilst also working on a parallel thread that is put together to fill any gaps that may exist in their core skills.  Special support is available too when SATs, entrance exams or GCSEs are looming.

The Thinking Behind MagiKats

Children who want help with their school work want that help NOW.  They want topics being covered at school to be more accessible immediately.  At the same time they are likely to have gaps in core skills that need to be filled.  This is why we work on the two strands simultaneously – to give an immediate boost underpinned by steady consolidation.

Family life is complicated.  We know that it is really hard to fit everything in so we do all we can to help.  MagiKats students attend a weekly workshop, arriving within an agreed time window and they take home five short homework assignments, allowing them one day off each week.  Continuity is, of course, important if good progress is to be achieved.  MagiKats Tuition Centres are open all year round so that the impetus is maintained.  During the family holiday we advise students to request special study packs to work through when ever they want and where ever they find themselves.

MagiKats - whether it is Maths or English (or both!) where your child needs support, we are there to help.
