New Tutoring Centre Launches in Kenton

A new MagiKats private tuition centre has opened in Kenton, welcoming families from surrounding areas including Queensbury, Kingsbury and Stanmore to its weekly small group tutoring workshops. It’s an exciting opportunity for parents who are looking to add extra learning support to their child’s education.

This is the second centre in the area, alongside MagiKats Harrow, which holds regular tuition workshops from its base at the Beacon centre.

Swati Shukla, Principal of MagiKats Kenton, has over 10 years of teaching experience. Alongside her extensive classroom expertise, she brings a wealth of knowledge in supporting children’s overall development and helping them build confidence in their learning.

Speaking about the new venture, Swati said, “I’m really excited to bring MagiKats to Kenton as it combines high-quality tuition in Maths and English with a nurturing environment where children develop confidence and independent learning skills. We offer a welcoming, values-driven environment where children feel motivated and supported.”

“As an experienced teacher, I understand how children learn and the strategies that help them thrive. I bring strong organisational and communication skills, and I have extensive experience working with families to support children’s progress. Having lived locally for over 15 years, I also offer valuable community connections and a genuine understanding of the aspirations parents hold for their children.”

Swati explains what makes MagiKats different from other tuition providers, “MagiKats stands out because it doesn’t just focus on academic improvement but also on building confidence, resilience, and lifelong learning skills. The programme is structured, yet highly personalised, and includes mentoring and self-reflection to encourage children to take ownership of their learning. Parents also receive regular feedback, which builds trust and transparency.”

Outside of MagiKats, Swati volunteers at Bhaktivedant Manor and is also one of the teachers at Krishna Club, where she helps children learn values and life skills through engaging activities.

The new Kenton centre is a welcome addition to the area as MagiKats Harrow Principal Annie explains, “It's great to see Swati join the MagiKats family. Together, we’ll be able to support even more families in the local area by offering our fun and engaging maths and English tuition sessions across both centres.”

MagiKats Kenton will run tuition workshops in Maths and English from Kenton Methodist Church on Fridays and Saturdays catering for students of all school ages and abilities. Learn more and get in touch to enrol https://www.magikats.co.uk/kenton
