What do we do?

We help children and teenagers improve their Maths and English! With nearly twenty years of helping children realise their potential, MagiKats is one of the most established and trusted names in the tuition business. Located in North Hykeham, our centre is a fun and friendly environment that puts your child at the heart of everything we do.

How does MagiKats Lincoln work?

We understand that every child is unique, with their own set of strengths, weaknesses, and individual needs. That's why we are here, ready to provide the guidance, support, and tailored education your child deserves. We offer an initial meeting and assessment, so we can fully understand your child's situation, and discuss their goals with you!

After enrolment, your child will attend our weekly after-school workshops of either maths, English, or both! Our programmes tie into the National Curriculum, so you can rest assured that your child will be gaining knowledge that can be transferred to the classroom. We also set a small amount of homework, designed to further your child's learning, and further boost their confidence!

We provide regular feedback on learning progress, so you're never left out of the loop on how your child is performing in our workshops.

But it's not just about academics here. We're all about creating a warm and collaborative community. Your child will have the chance to interact with fellow students, learn from each other, and tackle problems together. We want to instil not only a love for learning, but also the confidence to take on any challenge that comes their way.

Our Team

MagiKats Lincoln is run by Katie Christopher and Ronnie Byrne. Initially offering private tuition while at university, Katie has worked in the education sector for her entire working life, and puts her students at the heart of everything she does. Ronnie handles the day-to-day running of the centre, and ensures the workshop environment is a warm and friendly place for your child to learn.

Our personalised approach to learning is our strength. We split our students into groups of no more than six, each with their own tutor. This way, you know your child is getting the individual attention that they deserve. All of our tutors are DBS checked and fully trained by MagiKats.
