How can MagiKats help you and your child?

Do you want to support your child’s education? Do they have gaps in their knowledge or are they excelling their targets and wanting that extra challenge? Or do you simply want to ensure your child is staying on track?

Whatever stage your child is at on their learning journey, MagiKats Maths and English Tuition in Loughborough can help them to achieve their goals.

We understand that parents want the best for their child, but are often busy and may lack the confidence or knowledge to help with school work. This is where MagiKats comes in. Our approach ensures children are supported during workshops whilst working independently at home.

How does our centre work?

MagiKats is unique in that we offer a two-strand programme which is created for each individual child. Curriculum work is taught during weekly workshops where children are supported in small groups by learning mentors. Work to address any gaps in core skills is then sent home, where practice is key.

These two elements combined ensure that your child is supported in a way that works for them.

Our workshops take place at the Gorse Covert Community Centre which is next door to Morrisons. The learning environment is warm and welcoming, nestled upstairs away from the hustle and bustle of the community centre. A lift and toilets are available.

There is a seating area downstairs should you wish to wait, or why not take the opportunity to do your weekly shop next door. Free parking is available in the Morrisons car park.

Meet the Team

I’m Sarah, your MagiKats Principal and I am excited to launch Maths and English Tuition in Loughborough. I am an experienced primary school teacher and believe teaching to be one of the most rewarding jobs a person can do.

After becoming a mum for the first time, I realised I wanted to give more to the world of education as well as my local community. Having been a MagiKats mentor myself many years ago, I know that they match my values not only as a teacher, but now as a parent too.

Our mentors are all DBS checked and fully trained to support your child.
