Maths and English are taught separately in sessions that run for 40 minutes each. The variety of activities will keep your child engaged for the whole time and you’ll find that it is less intense than 1-1 tuition, but equally as effective.

MagiKats is not a quick fix, it is a long-term investment in your child’s education, as such we anticipate getting to know you and your child really well. You may find that their needs change over their time with us, and there is enough flexibility in our programme to allow for this. Through regular communication with you and your child, we ensure the work set is appropriate to their age and ability and helps them become confident, successful learners.

The Team at MagiKats Tenterden 

Before becoming the principal of MagiKats Tenterden, I was a headteacher for thirteen years. I have been a teacher since 1988 and have taught the whole primary and secondary age range. I have worked as a specialist teacher, a Special Needs Coordinator and a leadership consultant. I am passionate about education and still get a huge amount of pleasure from working with young people.

I have used my experience as a headteacher to hand-pick a team of hard-working and skilled mentors, who are as dedicated as I am to improving the life chances of young people. They are all fully trained and DBS checked.
