MagiKats Haywards Heath– supporting your child’s education from pre-school through to GCSEs

MagiKats Haywards Heath provides a maths and English tuition programme that supports the National Curriculum.  Our workshops are designed to boost your child’s confidence and enable progress in a fun and relaxed learning environment.  Whether your child wants to extend their knowledge or needs extra support, MagiKats Haywards Heath can help!

The MagiKats approach to maths and English private tuition

In my experience children come to our centres for a variety of reasons. Some need support and encouragement because they lack confidence or have missed out on some basic concepts and get stuck. Others may need help with problem solving or study skills or to be stretched beyond what they are learning in the classroom.

We find our dual approach of curriculum support and core work is one of the main reasons MagiKats students are so successful, no matter what their needs are.  After enrolment, each child will be welcomed into a small group suitable for their age and school year and will be supported by a suitably qualified and fully trained mentor.  Each child’s progress is carefully monitored and the support received from a mentor ensures that no-one is allowed to struggle.

Our workshops use a multi-sensory approach. Students will use their problem solving and study skills with hands on resources rather than computers, as well as working with more traditional written material.

In addition to the weekly workshop, carefully selected homework, known as core work, is issued to fill gaps in knowledge and strengthen core skills.

Meet the MagiKats Team

As a parent of three, I know how worrying it can be when your child is struggling at school. As a teacher, I also know that difficulties are hard to address in large classes. Changes in the UK curriculum have put additional pressures on children and parents alike.

I joined MagiKats in September 2017 and opened workshops in East Grinstead.  Less than two years later I am thrilled to have the opportunity to manage MagiKats Haywards Heath which has been running with huge success for the past 10 years.

Our team mentors are fully trained by MagiKats and DBS checked.  They are passionate about helping all our students; Our goal is to support your child as they work to reach their full potential.

Get in touch and book an initial meeting

An initial meeting is important to get to know you and your child.  We will work together to discuss your child’s goals and then he or she will complete a short assessment which will enable us to design a tailored learning programme. Your child will be introduced to their mentor and have a chance to work with our materials and try out a workshop too, without any obligations!

We look forward to meeting you soon!
